Interactive Session on the ban of Plastic Carry bags-
As you may be aware, the Corporation of Kochi is planning to implement the ban on Plastic Carry bags of less than 40 microns very soon.
Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry proposes to hold an interactive session with the Health Department officials of the Corporation in this regard at 5.30 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Indian Chamber Auditorium, Mattancherry. This meeting intends to create an awareness and disseminate information to all residents of the city which will be highly beneficial to all concerned.
Shri TK Ashraf, Standing Committee Chairman for Health, Dr Santha, Health Officer and other officials from the Health Department are expected to participate and clear doubts. It is our earnest desire that the Office Bearers of the Residents Association participate and understand the details regarding the same.
New year program Venue: Childrern's Park, Chullilckal Date:27-12-2011
Celebrations to mark New Year programmes will be held at the Children's Park at Chullikcal, maintained by the Indian Chamber. Indian Chamber joins Corporation of Kochi in their project to eradicate mosquito. Hand Fogging machines will be fitted in the Bicycles donated by the Chamber for effective spraying at the mosquito breeding centres in and around city. W'shipful Mayor Mr Tony Chammany will lauch the project at 5 pm on Friday, December 9, 2011.
