ICCI Green Award

The Governments of all countries in the world today have come together to find a workable solution to bring green house gas emissions under control in the wake of Corporate houses deeming it their social responsibility to find means of reducing their carbon footprints and NGOs urging governments and citizens to be more involved in the cause while also exploring unique ways of offsetting our carbon footprints.

Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, with a track record of 112 years of dedicated service for the cause of overall economic development of the State and well being of the society at large, is now in the process of formulating an action plan to promote, propagate and idea sharing on green thinking.

Indian chamber of commerce and industry has decided to appreciate an individual’s sensitivity and a sense of obligation towards nature by constituting a “Green initiative award”. This is an open nomination award and any person is free to nominate himself. The award would be presented to that individual whose lifestyle is deemed to be most in line with nature and amounts to conscious practice of non polluting ways of living.

The “Green initiative award” would be presented to an individual in kerala whose commitment to reduce green house effect producing gasses would be deemed most resolute.
